As you play and get deeper into League of Legends, you eventually find the perfect role for you.
This may be by choice but would you feel the same if you find out what your role indicates?
Top laners can vary from fighter to bruiser, and to assassin. A well-fed top laner has a high chance of turning the game around. A lot of champions that are eligible to go top has crowd control and can sustain their lane well.
If you are a top laner, you are mostly independent and don’t tend to rely on others because you know your teammates will rely on you. As a top laner, you take your farming seriously just like how you do your work. Some are even brave enough to teleport to the enemy side to backdoor and win the game.
Most top laners, especially the ones with crowd control, start team fights. One thing for sure, they will not hold back in the middle of the fight.
One of the most abused roles in League of Legends. Junglers are often called, players who retired from the top lane. You gank a lane and they die, it’s your fault. You gank a lane and you die, it’s still your fault. If you don’t gank and they’re losing their lane, it will always be your fault. Junglers receive the most blame especially if the team is losing. For not ganking to letting the enemy steal the dragon.
But why do some players still want to go jungle? It’s because Junglers are risk-takers. Getting your team back into the game and getting global game objectives are just part of the highs and lows of the game. Junglers are more concerned with the flow of the game. If a jungler was your classmate, he/she might be your classmate who was being bullied most of the time. Its okay to be nice to them, you know?
Most of the time, mid laners are referred to as the team captain or leader. A lot of players fight over this role because of wide-range of champs that you can play for the mid lane. Of course, they also want to lead the team towards victory. Mid laners also has the most control of the game since they can roam around the map quicker than anyone else.
If you prefer to play mid most of the time, you’re probably the leader type. You find quick solutions to any problems that may arise. A well-fed mid laner can win a game in a short time. But in some cases, a sloppy mid laner can be a big loss for the team. It’s either you’re the glory, or the headache and trouble in your team.
Attack Damage Carry is one of the important roles in LoL. To effectively play this role, you have to farm hard especially in early game so you can carry your team in the late game. Good positioning is also a must-have skill for a marksman. That’s easier said than done, of course.
ADC main usually bully their support and claim all the minions in their lane. They throw most of the rants and blames to their teammates especially if they die in team fights. AD Carries usually take all the credits and if well-fed, think they can beat anyone in the game. But, they also have to give credits to the person behind their plays, and yes I’m talking about Supports.
Supports are the unsung heroes of the game. Carries don’t often appreciate their heals, overwhelming protect, and incredible stuns. There are two types of supports. First one is, utility support. Second one is the, tank support. They set the team play and mostly get their marksman kills. They receive most of the damage that should be received by their ADC but don’t get the praise for it.
Support mains are probably the sidekicks of super heroes or their best friends. But some supports give commands, and take control of the game especially if the team relies on the crowd control of their support for team fights.
